Studio Updates

I thought I'd share a little about my home, my studio space where lessons happen, and the instruments my students play.

This is our house. It's about 140 years old. When you arrive, please park in my driveway or along the road. When it's time for your lesson, just come right up those front porch stairs and inside. My music room is to the right just inside the front door.
When you come in, please take off your shoes and leave them on the piano rug in the entry way.

This is my music room and Fischer the baby grand piano. Fischer was most likely born in the 1960's, and was rescued in 2020 from a mansion in Decatur, Illinois that was demolished.

I also have a digital Kawai Concert Performer CP 137 digital piano that is sometimes used for lessons.

And, I have a little Yamaha PSR 500 digital keyboard that I've had since my brother and I received it as a Christmas gift in 1989. Students love to play on this keyboard if they have a couple extra minutes at the end of their lesson.  The beautiful floral grand piano quilt was made by my super talented mom as a gift to me.
